LE FOUGA MAGISTER DANS LA FORCE AERIENNE LIBANAISE
En 1960, l'Armée de l'Air Libanaise perçue 8 Fouga Magister et suivis de 4 en 1966.
Il furent employés à des fins d'entrainement sur la base aérienne de Riyak mais, toutefois, ils purent être utilisés à des fins militaires et donc armés de mitrailleuses.
Tous ces avions furent actifs assez tard et c'est entre 2003 et 2005 qu'ils furent "arrêtés". Pour dire en 2003 il en restait que 3 d'actifs.
En recherchant profondément des informations sur internet, j'ai pu trouver un incident relaté le 28 Mai 1987 au cours duquel un Fouga Magister fut intercepté par un avion israélien. Celui-ci fut contraint à se poser en Israël pour interrogatoire de plus de 12 heures. Le Colonel Khalil Matr et le Capitaine Samir Ma'luni furent priés de regagner leur pays à bord de leur avion sans leur avoir trouvés un préjudice ! Israël, un pays qui aura toujours peur...
In 1960, Lebanon Air Force has received 8 Fouga Magister and 4 anothers in 1966.
They being used for aims of entrainement on the air base of Rayak but, nevertheless, could be used to fine servicemen and therefore armed with machine guns.
All these planes were active enough late and it is between 2003 and 2005 when they were "stopped". To say in 2003 it remained there that 3 of assets.
By searching information profoundly on Internet, I could find an incident related on May 28th, 1987 in the course of which Fouga Magister was intercepted by an Israeli plane. This one was forced to settle in Israel for cross-examination of more than 12 hours. The colonel Khalil Matr and the captain Samir Ma'luni were forced to regain thier country with edge of their plane without having found them a detriment !
